FAQ
Are forms set to do concrete landscape curbing?
No a machine that extrudes the concrete into a continous concrete border is used.
How long does the process take?
Depending on the shape, options and footage of the installation, it normally takes only 1 day.
Do you use reinforcement in your curbing?
Yes we use Fibermesh reinforced fibers in the curbing. We also can use rebar and wire cable as well.
Will the color fade over the years?
No, a sealer is applied to prevent fading. Resealing is a good maintenance practice.
Will the curbing break?
All concrete will crack. To control cracking, joints are placed every 36 inches to allow your curbing to expand and contract.
How long will replacing my existing edging with curbing affect my landscaping?
We will remove the existing edging and cut a 10 inch strip of sod away from the outside edge of your existing landscaping. This will allow them to extrude the curb in place of your current edge. If you have any sprinkler heads where the curb is to be extruded, these will need to be repositioned. If they are inside or outside the install area, your edging will not be affected by the curbing installation process.?
Will I be able to mow against my curbing?
Your curbing will be as strong as 3000psi and will stand your mowers weight to ride along the edge of the curbing. The blades of your mower will not damage your curbing, and will allow you to mow right up against it, resulting in less time spent weed eating around your landscaped areas.
